Name doesn't matter to me. I'm satisfied with just plain 'ol Team 3! That's just me as I'm simple and am more concerned with the experience of the hunt than drafting a creative name. I'll side with the majority.

How about Team 3 then? I was actually thinking that too. :)

Or Team Triple Threat... playing off the "3", and I know we've got chances at three different subspecies of longbeards... because I'll be in Kansas chasing Rios, Nebraska trying to waylay a Merriam's, and back to MO after our Easterns... Rockin' Rod is heading to NE too but not sure how far west he'll be going.

Team 3 works or Team Triple Threat works. Which ever, just want to get out and shoot some turkeys!!! I'll be in CT shooting some.

I'll also go with whatever! Are we going to decide on a captain?

Team Triple Threat works for me. Been seen more gobblers strutting the last week and a half around here. Good luck to those out hunting! Mike

Anyone super-opposed to Team Triple Threat? If not, I'll shoot Dan a PM or text and tell him to change our thread title to that...

Does anyone know m_jaske and want to shoot him a PM telling him to be sure and check in? Best I can tell from looking at the alternates list, that's who should have been assigned to our team after TKP030 didn't get drawn for a tag...

Well boys I struck out in Nebraska. I was hunting near Chadron great area with lots of birds. Just couldn't get any to come in I had birds come within 50 yards but not fully commit. Saturday morning I had birds in every direction gobbling there heads off, best I could figure there was between 8 to 12 toms. Great time out there still even without getting a bird. I will go back next year in the mean time hopefully Minnesota will pay off.

Awesome. Looks like we're a full team again!

Rod, I'll send you a PM tonight when I'm back in front of my computer. I'd like to learn a bit more about your experiences if possible; I'm heading to the same area in a couple weeks. I'm at my boy's soccer game now

I love listening to that "thump"... almost as much if not more so than hearing it on a whitetail, LOL...

Way to go teammate... go ahead and score him and keep it handy JUST in case you don't get another. Our team last year came in 2nd and if I recall correctly a jake would have put us over :)

    Congratulations man!
