I think MO season closed may 8th? Ks season runs to may 31st. I'll try to get out again on the KS side and see if I can add some buffer points. Been busy with planting and spraying so I dunno how well it'll work to get out or if I can even find a turkey this late without just hunting over a feeder, lol.
Well guys, I was running down to the end of the season and was having tough season so i went out the other afternoon with my shotgun. Got this guy at 25 yards! 24 lbs, 8 1/2 inch beard, 1 inch spurs. Too bad I couldnt have gotten him with my bow for the contest, sorry guys! I guess my Halon will have to wait until fall for first blood..
Great looking bird Trev!! Would have been nice to get him with the bow BUT.....I'd much rather see you packing him home over your shoulder than him running off through the woods! I got 2 with the gun this year too and I'm not complaining a bit! Congrats man!
Nice one Trev! I'm heading out Thursday morning and will be the first time I've taken a gun this year. Only have one tag, but I've put in enough time this year with the bow so it's time to bring out the big guns.. would have loved to get one with the bow but fell a little short on a couple occasions.

Not now. Team 3 blew up and has 5 birds on the board. Oh well, we had a great season and I had fun no matter what. Hopefully everyone got in the woods and enjoyed the hunts!
Hell ya is was fun. I got my first bird with a bow which was the first blood for my new bow. Looking forward to the deer contest. Just thankful we all still have to right to hunt.

Yeah we gave it a good run. I feel got out enough, but just wasn't able to put it all together. Learned alot though and had a great time out there.
