About 15 miles north of St. Cloud area. I've been seeing a lot of birds lately and have 6 cameras out... Gonna go check them in about an hour.

Welcome Trlblzr3. Hope you find the birds and bring one home. Pumper had a few ideas at names. The only thing I could come up with was Beard shwackers. Either way Im good with what ever. Well just had a good storm blow through here and its supposed to light rain for another hr or so. Then the winds are to be 25-30 in the morning. I think Im gonna have to pass on opening morning here. I go to work tomorrow and won't get off till monday morning. So gonna try again Monday and tues morning.

Well I saw one with about 9-10 beard but wouldn't come across the field. Instead I got 3-4 hens and 2 jakes. Gonna try for big boy again in the morning.
No luck this morning. I had 3 jakes and 3 hens. Longest beard was about 4" I know theres some good ones out there. Good luck on Sat Hillbilly.
Keep at it Hoytx! It will happen. I saw about 8-10 toms strutting this morning on my way to work. Population boom from last year. Lets hope that it looks like that where I can hunt. Going out this weekend to scout a little bit.
Pulled my camera in one of my favorite spots and got no pictures of turkeys but ended up getting 6 coyotes that are coming through regularly about an hour after dark. I bet you can guess where I'm gonna be tonight.. !! Hopefully if I can get some of the coyotes out of there then the turkeys will come back!
