Are Broadheads okay to Turkey hunt with? What else are some good options.

I was told too use a field tip. I have also seen these ones that have 3 prongs that looks like you use it to get a head shot.

Defiantly don't just use a field tip and the ones with prong judo tips are for small game such as squirrels

Don't use a field tip, on any animal.

If you are going for head shot use a guillotine type broadhead such as the Magnus bullhead.

Not always but in my opinion a large mechanical broadhead works better for turkey than lets say a standard 3 blade muzzy

Arrowdynamic Solutions Guillotine FixedBlade Turkey Broadheads

Sorry I didn't realize these type are also called a broadhead. But this is the arrow head I was talking about for the head shot.

Thanks for all of the help.

Oh ok ya something like that works for head/neck shots only
The good thing about those is usually either miss or the bird is dead in its tracks

I have had it where I had to chase a bird because I shot a little off on mechanical heads.
