You guys are right. Next time, I'll let them get closer - maybe I'll shoot when the feathers are actually touching the barrel. LOL I was just about a half-inch off-center from actually separating his head from his body. Kinda like the Gobbler Guillotine, but with an 870. The 870 Guillotine.

Oh no Caleb - the crossbow was no joke. I do have one. I'd have had it out there that day, but it was supposed to rain.
Dan - The video project and the xbow rekindled my interest for this season. I like to try a new angle on something, every year. I really had a lot of fun out there, trying to get one down on film. I'm sure I blew a couple hunts by screwing around with that stuff - but it's not about "getting a turkey" anymore, really.

Self-videotaping a turkey hunt is kinda hard... Just lugging all that crap around can be a hindrance. Doing it with no blind is even worse. Trying to bowkill a tom on self-video with no blind . . . well . . . that's verging on impossible.

Whatsup with me not getting any Youtube ratings on my videos?! How the hell am I supposed to turn into the next worldwide Youtube sensation if you fockers won't rate my video??! (5 Stars, obviously).
