This Spring, my new Remington 870 Super Mag is gonna get a face-lift/performance boost.

What have you guys added to your turkey guns?

For you 870 owners, whats the best way to attach a scope? Dealer told me to avoid the saddle-mount.

What chokes/scope combo do you use?

Picture are not only encouraged, but a requirement.

I don't have a pic of my 870 SM saved on the iPad, but if your looking to upgrade I would look at either a jelly head, or Indian creek choke and hevi shot shells. Don't be afraid of the #7s they will throw awesome patterns in either of those chokes. The only mods I made to my 870 were fiber optic sights, a krylon paint job, and upgrading my ammo choke combo. And yes I can crush a bird at 50 yards if I ever had one hang up, but I've never shot one past 40 with all the birds I've killed..

get it drilled and tapped. I put a trs 25 on mine, great little red dot for the price. Pair that with a ventilator choke. Remington doesn't make them anymore I believe but they are readily available for less than $20. I've spent a lot of money on chokes and that one still gives the best patterns at 40.
