So you know when you buy a new decoy it's packed as tight as it can get to fit in a small box, then when u pull it out it has dents and everything in it. So my question is what's your guys tricks to form it back to the shape it should be.

Stuff it full of tissue paper or news paper and then let sit over night or a few days. you can also run hot water over the outside and work the creases out of it.

However, it's extremely hard to get them completely out. That's why I've transitioned to either hard body dekes or inflatable versions like the avian x.

We bought a b mobile full strut decoy a couple years back and could never get it to shape right. But since then we have had awesome luck using no decoys.

Grab your ol' lady's hair dryer when she isn't looking. Most manufactures recommend to give them a little heat and they will pop back out.

I was thinking this but wasnt to sure if it would work

I am going to try this for the first time this weekend. I will be by myself so i figure im going to pack everythng in for a morning hunt then during the day just cover a lot of ground leaving the decoys in the truck since they would just be one more thing for me to carry.

Stuff with Paper, and Like someone else said The Hair Dryer, warms them up and help shape.

I plug the hole in the back, where the stake attaches, and fill 'er up with hot water. A buddy suggested this, and it works like a champ.

Pic is from this past Saturday, Henrietta is on the right. That hen came in and hung out for the better part of an hour.
