I plan on hunting with the G5 Montecs. Its what I use during deer season. I do however plan to dial down my bow to try and eliminate a pass through.

Has anyone used the turkey terrors by American Broadhead? I was thinking of giving them a shot.

Not decided at all or real sure for that matter!

I'm thinking about cheap expandables as well....I've got some I bought at the start of deer season as an experiment... I think they are "Allens.

They shoot accurately, but I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out how to align them with the fletching....

Im using some cheapo "eastman" expandables with a bad ass cutting diamether. They fly good and I certainly dont expect them to pass through. Ive been shooting them into a layered target to try to dull them up a little as well.

Cheapo expandables here as well. I will also have a Neet Adder Point behind them to make sure I don't get a pass through.

Ill be using the rage two blade again, i loved them last season with a light arrow, they hold good in the bird, and make a hell of a hole. Jeff has a good point about just a cheap mechanical. I killed my first bird with a bow using a cheap three blade mechanical from rural king. They held in the bird also with the bow cranked down.

I just looked at the ratings by users for these on Cabela's. Apparently, If you hit wing bone, they bounce off. lol. I guess that cutout on the blades doesn't like wings.

I'm confused myself, but the dull expandable sounds like a dandy.

Anyone use dull Slick Tricks for turkeys? I have some standard 1" cut I would rather use as practice heads or turkey heads (if they would fit the bill) before I mess up the 1 1/16" cut Magnum blades.

I am leaning more toward using some 2 blade Rages I got for cheap at the ATA show.
