I don't remember where I read if or heard it but, I understand that to perfectly tune a bow with paper that you should use an arrow that has no fletchings or veins??? If you paper tune it until you get a perfect punch in the paper, I believe the yardage was around 10-15yd. I would imagine that if you get an arrow to fly that straight at that yardage with no rear stabilizing it would fly outstanding at any yardage. Does anyone use this technique?? If so is it worth trying?? I heard this helps maximize the FPS of your setup by doing this. Is this true?
The Easton tuning guide actually has a section on it. I have it saved to my desktop so not sure where its located online any more
