Trying to get gf to come to G2G

    So I brought up the g2g to my gf shortly after I joined the site(joined a few weeks ago). She loves camping and she is finally starting to get into hunting. So she is interested, but she thinks its going to be akward since neither of us know anyone that is going. And she assumes it is only a bunch of older guys(im 25 shes 23). And she is by no means a hunter... yet. Im working on that part. Can anyone post some information I can show her to reassure her she won't be an outcast.

    At the GTG there is a wide range of ages, 25 and 23 you'll be fine. As for not knowing anybody don't worry about that, this group of guy's and gals are some of the friendliest people around you will not feel like an awkward there. Come on by shoot some arrows meet some people and have fun. My wife is thinking about going but we'll see when it gets here.

    Just a few years ago none of us knew anyone. One of my favorite parts of the weekend is getting to meet new people. She will have a great time and it looks like we will have more women this year then ever! My girlfriend is planning on being at the campground friday and shooting on saturday at the club! She will have a great time! Hope you can both make it!

    LOL It has been a fun weekend away for me the last 5 years but with all the women that appear to be going this year I told the gf she might as well come too. The GTG being a guys weekend is gone I'm afraid!

    There are people of all ages and even some females! I am in the white shirt in the back of the group. This was the shooting group I was with last year and hope we get the same team!

    X2!!!! You dont even want to know how hard it was letting him ride with me after winning the bow for the 2nd time! I kept saying to myself "I hope he knows how to TUCK & ROLL!" I just could not bring myself to doing it to him. I was afraid of them digits playing a roll of my Doctor on me! HE HE HE
