A couple of weeks ago I picked up a Primos Truth Cam 60 after reading good things about it. All in all for the price I'm pretty happy. The camera seems to perform fairly well and the photos are no worse than any of the other cameras I've tried in the sub-$200 price range. The only things I don't like are the D cell batteries that it takes, the overall size of the unit (I'm getting used to the small Bushnells), and the noise it makes when the IR filter drops in place. Very similar to the my Moultrie i40 in that regard, except without all of the blank photos! For $150 I'd definitely consider getting another one. http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/Products/Primos-Truth-Cam-60ir__63030.aspx Buck I killed on 10/31, when he had all of his tines in tact. Some definite blur when the animal is moving, but I've yet to find an IR camera that doesn't do this. A good example of a typical IR photo. I think he heard the "clunk" when the IR filter dropped into place. Buck I've passed twice now - "Rudy" Daytime photos are pretty decent. Color is a little washed out, but not terrible. The i40 seemed to have better colors. Buck I want to kill this weekend - "Honcho" Another good daytime photo of "Buster" Buck I shot on 10/31, taken 2 mornings before I shot him 80 yards from this spot.
Thanks for the review. This is a unit I have been interested in since it came out. Blessings.....Pastorjim
