Yes and my point was that this statement was going to alienate muslim countries and give the terrorists ammo for recruiting. I agree that the left editted it but the statement alone doesn't need editting, it damning enough as it is.

The point is the entire "Ammo for Terrorist" line is just a scare tactic from the left. Same as them claiming the GOP hates old people, or education. Terrorists have hated the US for as long as I can remember. Trump is barely a blip on their radar. They are not recruiting more because of Trump, they are recruiting more because they have gained more power in the region because of "US" destabilizing the area. They are recruiting more because of the power of the internet to reach more potential recruits.

Trump as an excuse for terrorists is just one of many fear mongering tactics from the left.

If those islamic countries/governments can't understand that we have a legitimate need to sort out the bastards that want to kill us from the one's that don't, then they are as much a part of the problem as the "extremists". If they are "peaceful", then they should be willing to help prevent us from being mass murdered by their religious bastard zealots rather than throw a hissy fit because we feel a need to be cautious about allowing unidentifiable extremists into the US.

We can't allow people that either want to kill us or want to see others kill us, to dictate to us how we handle our own protection because we're afraid it might piss them off. I just don't get that mindset.

You have to remember that religion is everything in that part of the world. They take it very seriously, even to the point of executing people for what they deem to be religious crimes. I guarantee that they will not share your view, no matter how just or legitimate it is.

Exactly, so why pussyfoot around the issue. That leaves a choice, either let the refugees in so you don't piss off the religious zealots or you stop them from coming in to the country until there's a solution to identifying the extremists murderers from the one's that supposedly aren't.

There is no in between strategy available, one way gets American's killed in our country and the other prevents it...now tell me where Trump was wrong or why he should be reviled for telling the truth.

No idea. I don't think it'll be any of the other candidates though. His pick should be pretty telling as to what's in store though.

Ben Carson would be an interesting option. And he endorsed him today.

    Don't know though.

I think he will pick Christie because he want a career politician.

I don't think he'll go with Carson or Christie. Christie was just a governor so he doesn't bring anything to the table as far as how to get things done in Washington legislation. Carson is far too reserved (sedated?) and has no experience Trump needs. Kasich brings more to the table to broaden Trumps support than either one of those two. Kasich was part of the gang when Gingrich was speaker that got key legislation passed and being the governor of a swing state, to me, pretty much makes him the top of the VP list from a list of other fellow candidates. Trump has said that he'll likely go with someone that has experience with getting key legislation passed. Kasich is also younger than Trump by a margin and would be nearly Trumps age now as an incumbent after 8 years.
I don't know that I'm a fan of the idea but it makes a lot of sense from a political perspective. I'd say it is pretty likely why Kasich even entered the race to begin with.

The fiasco in Chicago will only help Trump. I personally don't care for him, but the behavior of the protesters definitely changed my perspective. They are protesting the very things in have in common with Trump.

That's what happens when you have so many crazy liberals that are so determined to stamp out liberty. The other side is just getting sick of it. What do you do? It's unfortunate but the only peace that will be found is on the other side of the violence, that's just the reality of the situation. That's why it's been worse in Chicago, it's a hell hole of liberal crack heads that have ruined their own part of the country and want to do the same to the rest of the country.

I don't understand the protesters, why are there few conservative protesters? Does being a liberal entitle them to tell others how to act at their own parties.
