There was support in Puerto Rico. It is just a completely different situation. We had support on the other side of the world because we used our forward military bases. We were air lifting in as much support as we could.

since you posed a rational response without name calling or direct race baiting; I'll bite-

Your original question was literally "what does he have against Puerto Rico"? The facts I laid out are the reasons the response has been perceived or is somewhat slower than FL or Houston. Your original question assumed there was a bias by Trump against PR- you insinuated it was racism; or some other nefarious reason. Your anti-Trump premise was evident and comes wholly from your prejudiced view of anything he does or does not do...your premise, coupled with with the rabidly anti-Trump media skewing or outright ignoring the facts as they are, is what provokes people like me to retort so strongly.

Again, facts play a part here...his base is not anywhere near "99.99" white. More blacks voted for Trump than did for Romney. Only 5% less Hispanics voted for Trump vs. Romney. (I got these figures from the WAPO which is decidedly anti-Trump.) Trump's base is the working class American; who happen to be overwhelmingly white but in my experience are not white supremacists. All the Trumpers I know are factory workers, cops, firemen, service veterans and/or small business owners....and not one is a white supremacist. Some are black. Many are actually small business-owning Hispanics; and more than a few are Asians or East Indians.

Trump also never said "Nazis are good people". You got that from Fake News. What he actually said was that there were some good people there in Charlotte- and there were some decent people there who simply objected to having their history forcibly erased from public view and are not neo-Nazis or white supremacists. Some of the "good people" there were just there to see the show and don't really believe in one side or the other. The extreme Antifas and White Power idiots down there are all violent animal thugs who all belong in cages - preferably the same one. I don't know any Trumpers who think otherwise. Just because I don't know any doesn't mean they don't exist; just as you as a Bernie Sanders supporter probably (I hope) don't advocate or know anyone who does advocate violent Communist revolution...but that doesn't mean there are not a fair number of Sanders supporters who do (see the Congressional baseball game shooter....he was a vocal supporter of your boy.)

Sometimes Trump says things awkwardly. Many times his reactions and statements are instinctive, guttural and not always 100% factually correct. But he's not racist. He's probably employed more Hispanics and blacks in his life than you will meet in 100 lifetimes; and there is nothing more Christian (I'm not one) and good in this world than in giving a deserving person a job. He may be a Nationalist but that doesn't mean he's a White Nationalist. He could care less what color you are as long as it's Red White and Blue.

I'm not sure if this is the start of a joke or an actual question, but is it ...they open their mouth?

    Lol, lucky you.
Thanks for being open minded. Debate is welcome. Derision is not. If I got too personal accept my apologies. I just don't take kindly to those who don't take kindly and would rather assume motive rather than look at the facts.

Glad we could be reasonable; just because we disagree doesn't mean one or the other is evil.

Good luck in the woods. And I mean that.

That guy was more full of SH!T than my septic tank! He never answered a direct question with a direct answer he always deflected and blamed the top 2% for our problems or blamed the corporations for our problems. You know, the people who employ 90% of the working population. Bernie Sanders is a Grade-A Hypocrite.

"Political fantasy land is a fun place to vacation with the mind, but it doesn't belong in the economics of reality."

I like that sentence. Simple. Eloquent. Kind of like E=MC^2.
