Quite frankly, both parties have screwed up the system so badly that it's going to take a candidate like Trump to right the ship. Someone that hasn't been a career politician and someone with his own backbone. While there are things that people don't like about Trump, he seems to have what it takes to stand up to and take down the status quo approach to government.
Very true Sky, I saw the same thing happen here in Minnesota with Gov Turnbuckle Ventura. I wonder if like Jesse Donald is going to get 2-3 years into it and get thin skinned and mentally check out.
Isn't anyone sick of voting for the lesser of two evils? This presidential run is a joke, other countries have to be laughing about what a three ring circus it is. Just look at the top candidates Trump is Trump a bully who picks on people when he doesn't get his way. Hilary is a criminal with no moral compass and would only drive this country farther into the crapper. Sanders I'm pretty sure he is a communist his beliefs are way past what socialist Obummers are. Does anybody believe that Cruz could make it?
Another very smart move by Trump. I honestly don't think the guy cares if he wins or loses, he wins either way.
He smelled their stink and made the right call. They were setting him up to be blasted. He back pedaled. Smart move.....just like that big buck did to me back in Oct.......hmm
Bloomberg would be an absolute nightmare! If he doesn't make a run this election, I bet he will in the future. The thought alone makes me want to vomit
I don't usually delve into the political threads (no one comes out a winner), but this X1000. I'm considering not voting this year. Will be my first time, but I'm not sure there's any candidate that truly seems to grasp the bigger problem at hand (themselves). Trump has the advantage of not being a career politician, but that's where it ends for me. Everything else about him is too extreme and lacking in what is needed as a leader and representative for our country.
If Ben Carson hadn't went a little odd he should have captured the "not a politician" group....sadly ain't happening though now.
Nothing says you have to vote for a republican or a democrat. Not voting is NOT an option. Pick a third party that is on your local ballot. Until we, the people, make it clear that we are fed up with the status quo, we will be stuck with this bullsh@t! Of course, we would have to rely on the media to accurately report that "3rd party" candidates received a significant number of votes.
I must say that Trumps concession speech last night was very gracious and probably humanized him more than winning ever could. For me he was more impressive in defeat than in victory. Never expected that from him. Big loser last night was Hillary, she can suger coat the results all she wants but she really lost. I would love to see the Dems nominate a socialist as that is where the party platform is anyway at least they would be honest it admitting it. Anyway so it has now officially started and I can't wait for it to be over with as I am already tired of it.
