I remember years back I wanted one. put a post on a forum asking if they are any good & was told " there is a reason you never see people using them" .....never found out the reson.

I can't imagin them being really any good though, trying to see a little red dot 40 odd yards away dosent seem right, not to mention I cant see there would be a need for a peep sight? could affect shooting form maybe...... baisicly "there is a reason no one uses them" what ever it may be haha ;)

Thats not how they work. They work as a scope or a sight with a lens kit. The only difference is there is no changing of the lens kits to change your power and the dot is electronic and shows up on the lens instead of using sight pins. The power works like a rifle scope so that you can zoom in and out. I am really thinking about trying them out later this year or maybe after this coming season. One of the draw backs I can see just from reading the specs will be weight. It weighs a little over a pound. As far as a reason you never see people using them, who knows. I do know from working in manufacturing for long enough that if a product doesn't sell, a company doesn't make it any more. Seams like this one has been made for a few years so it must be selling to someone.
