I have it as a back up. Had to send my other one back to them to get them to fix it so I bought that one. (their customer service is excellent!) It works great. It'll be fine for a hunting release. If you shoot as much as my boss and I do, then the lack of padding on the strap will be an issue. I say this because we have 250+ pull days. We enjoy shooting... what can I say. End all be all, you can't go wrong with it if it is something you like. Hope this helps
I'm going to take a look at it. I have a True-Fire patriot now that I have had since before I started shooting. It is modified now because I wanted the shaft shorter to get the release to strike my finger where I wanted it. Haven't had a problem with the cheap one I have and just wanted to upgrade to something more adjustable that doesn't break the bank.
I opted for the edge. I like the tru fire because the foldback. I was skeptical at first because I'm not use to their trigger action but I shot it a few times tonight and it seems to be all good. The head on the hurricane was pretty big and that's why I opted against it. I also liked the adjustment the edge offered.
