I have not used the extreme but I have used the Pro Diamond the last two years, my primary reason for going to a thumb release is that I can clip it on my d loop when I get in stand and I dont have a wrisrt release flopping around when I move to use a call or eat a snack on a long sit. It is there ready when I need it.
I used one for a year. I loved the way it felt and really gave it a try. I liked it because I shot fingers for so long that it felt good to draw with my fingers. I shot it pretty well, but I was never as accurate as with my Scott Wildcat so I went back to it. Never figured out why, but it must have been that my anchor point floated around a bit when I used it. Whispers Death
I have one and have been using it for a couple of years now. To me it feels a lot more comfortable than a wrist release. My groupings also got tighter after I started to use one. Its great for hunting since you can just leave it on your loop and not have to worry about that when a deers coming. I have nothing negative at all to say about it. It's a great release that I plan on using for a long time.
Thanks; Just purchased one and have only shot it a few times. Really liked the idea of the caliper to hook directly to the loop. Have shot the Carter BK Hunter a few years ago during 3-D and spot league; but never hunted with it. The Pro Daimond does give me a slightly higher anchor point vs the wrist strap; but very solid. Will play around with it this summer. Turkey season in a couple of weeks and not wanting to change things up. CK
Just started useing the Pro Diamond, so I haven't hit the woods with it. I do like it much better than my old wrist release. Sent from my LGL55C using Tapatalk 2
