I have a couple arrows in my quiver that are built the same as the others but are for practice shots from the stand. The other night I would draw and the nocturnal would pop off as my bow would break over. The serving is all new as of september. Maybe these have been shot too much and don’t have a good pinch anymore.
Anyone else see their nocs get loose over time. I’m now worried that this could happen when drawing on a deer. They do fine when target practicing on the ground.

Unless its nock specific, meaning that they are worn out or too big for the serving. Otherwise your looking at pinch from the loop and or nock sets, it too tight and at the right angle it pops the nock out.
It's a good thing to get a handle on quick as you will find yourself with a dry fire.

Went out and shot some and no issues but found one of my nocs were cracked. Guess I need to do a better inspection of my arrows.

I posted about the same issue a while back. I think what was happening is I was using old Nocks to practice with and it was giving me the issue. Guys on here told me not to practice with those. Inside the throat of the nockturnal is a notch and mine was gone. I'll practice mainly with my original Nocks that came with my arrows and only sling the nockturnals occasionally just to check to see if everything is good.

It could also be your draw length too. I have a really long draw.

Glad you found the bad nock. FYI most arrows pop off from twisting the string as you draw. Too heavy draw weight or bad d-loop can cause this.
