I am having trouble sighting in my son's Diamond Razor Edge youth bow. I bought him a new sight for it and now all it does is shoot the ground. The old sight was moved all the way to the bottom of the track and had to have the top pin removes so that he could hit the target a 15 yards. What up. Is the sight too big? Is the arrow loop in the wrong place. What wrong and how do I fix it.

Thanks again for all the help. Great board! Bow seasons opens in three weeks.

Sounds like the bow needs to be tuned. There are several things that could be wrong. The most likely one is that the rest is too low or the nock point (loop) is too high. When looking from the side at a nocked arrow, the shaft should pass at a level through the center of the rest mount (Berger) holes. It should also be dead level or very slightly nock high (like one or two serving wraps at most).

    Thanks Kodiak:

Cabela's sold me the bow and the sight was on upside down. I will look at it tonight and let you know. I am going to take it to get tuned Monday at the Proshop that tuned my BowTech Tribute. It shoot nothing but dots, unless I just plan miss.

Sounds like a tuning problem plus make sure the peep is set right for him
