Make sure that when he draws it, the rest rotates backward then back forward. If the string is not pulled tight enough, it will not rotate back. This will cause it to stay closed. Try operating it manually. Pull down on the string till the rest sops rotating back then let it go really quick. This should cause it to flip open.

Take it back to the store were you bought it....It's obviously one from the 1st generation. I had a similar problem with one where it eventually shattered. If you call the company they will tell you the same thing or something close to it. It's no real way to determine which are which.

Also some bows are just to fast for the Revolution so this will may be another potential problem.

Follow Sticks advice and enjoy the day...good luck.

It will make a "click" sound when rotated back. It is verry, verry faint and its hard to hear. I'd say take it back.

I understand. It doesn't matter the accessory, company, or part, if you are shooting and something isn't working right its a pain. I feel sure they will make it right. If he bought it at a pro shop or heck even a big box store, try taking it back there first. Then call Trophy Ridge if you have too. Good luck with it.
