This sight is amazing. I have never been able to shoot very well over 40 yards. After I got this one set up I was wadding arrows with it at any distance I wanted to shoot.

Awesome review! Thanks. How do you like the bear motive 7? Did you shoot any of the other bear bows?

I really like the Motive. I may end up trading it for a Motive 6 just to try one. I also shot the Method at the ATA show. It is a really nice bow. Smooth and quiet very nice mid priced bow.

with bows being different and everyone shooting their own poundage, I don't understand how this sight can be universal. If different bows drop at different rates then my 60 might not be as low as your 60 or vice versa. What am I missing here??

The more drop you have between your 20 and 30yd pin will show even more on your 60yd pin. I dont know the exact science but i was watching a you tube video where Pig-man and other Trophy Ridge guys says your F.P.S. doesnt matter. I know thats not true to all F.P.S but i only shoot 280-290 ish and it works great for me.

Finally got a chance to pick mine up today. So far it seems great but I was only able to shoot it indoors up to 17 yards so dont have it all dialed in yet but will soon!

I was looking at the HHA single pin, but am thinking more and more about this sight.

From Cabelas:

[IMG][h=3]Trophy Ridge React 5-Pin Bow Sight[/h]

• Auto-calibrating yardage pins for quick setup
• Ballistix CoPolymer technology
• Toolless windage and elevation knobs
• LED rheostat light included
• Versatile mounting points
Take the pain out of sighting in your bow with this innovative, time-saving sight. Sight in your 20- and 30-yard pins using toolless microadjustments. Smart Pin technology automatically sets the 40-, 50- and 60-yard pins based on the difference between your 20- and 30-yard pins. Exclusive Ballistix copolymer technology gives this sight the strength of aluminum, but is 25% lighter. Soft-touch Ballistix coating reduces vibrations for extra-quiet performance. The reversible mounting bracket allows for high and low mounting points, and multiple mounting holes create a custom feel on any bow. Built-in sight level ensures accuracy on any terrain. Included rheostat sight light provides even illumination across each of the .019 fiber-optic yardage pins. Toolless windage and elevation knobs.

So it doesn't appear to be aluminum, that would be why you couldn't distinguish the finish.

Welcome to the sight. Very well done. I have to admit that I like the in-line pin set up. that's actually pretty cool that those pins set up so quickly. One question, can you micro adjust each sight once you set the "master" adjustment?

No but you shouldnt have to. If you start fine tuning at the longer(50-60 yards) you will actually be really fine tuning your shorter pins! Really happy with it so far!
