Hey, I got bored already sittin around on the off season an decided since I don't have a mineral site, I'd make one. So I found a tree stump an sorta made a "bowl" in the center of it an planned on just setting it in it. So my question do any of you guys have any extra tips or tricks to help me make it a success?

Hahahaha sounds simple enough, I heard of people takin distilled water an pouring it on the rock after you put it down. Didn't know if it'd help or anything

trophy rock is pretty much a salt block with minimal minerals...much better out there that actually has minerals throughout it.

Monster Raxx seems the best man. I haven't used it myself yet but I'm sold. Will be buying A LOT of the product this year. Real excited about having several Raxx sites in my 120 acres come spring. Check them out, and check out the trailcam page, you'll see alot of guys here use the same thing.

Monsteraxx is what I use, however due to Indiana law I don't go to the trouble of putting them in at all my hunting spots as I have to dig up the lick, affected soil every year before season...not fun, but I do it at our homestead property. I'm actually going to be doing a review on Monsteraxx this coming spring based upon our last year with it and 30-06 from Whitetail Institute, and side by side comparison between the two this coming spring. I'll be sure to link it to here.
