well.......... I was lucky to tag an 8 pnt early this year on the 3rd. first time I have taken a buck targeted via trail camera. also the earliest I have tagged a buck!!! everything about that hunt that evening was wrong. wind was good. didnt expect him at that tree setup. 86 degrees out so I had to work fast. quarters, tenders, and loins in cooler in less than 3 hours. thankfully he went down right at the edge of the bean field. went maybe 60 yards. hard quartering away shot so I aimed for the exit. taken with my new micro 335 (yes after research this is the model I wanted) so anyway......for the remainder of the season I'm a "Trophy Doe" hunter!!!! my BHOD antler shield patch should arrive via mail today. will stick this on my xbow stock pouch!!!! good luck brethren!!!
