Do any of you hunt out of a tripod stand? I have a spot where thee are no trees big enough for a tree stand, but want to get up off the ground, so I am thinking about buying a tripod to put up in this spot. Looking for suggestions on which one to look at. I am not a big fan of heights, so not looking to get real high. was thinking around 13'. Would be used for both archery, and muzzleloader season.

I have but didn’t seam to be high enough for me, I felt directly in their line of sight. Personally didn’t like it at all for bow hunting.

    I have one.

I had a spot with a ton of sign but no trees over about 18/20 foot.Went out and bought a 15 foot tripod stand then trimmed out a big "slot" in the one side of a wide cedar tree, tucked it back into the branches and it works great.
