    Damn, Kyle . . . that's a really nice looking buck.

What's your status on huntability of that guy? If you can get near him, he's worth waiting for. Great deer. Good luck bro.

Thanks guys, i'm excited to match wits with him come September.

This is a new property I actually bear baited last fall, I got to talking to the owner about possibly deer hunting it, as the land lays out absolutely perfect for whitetails, and he gave the go. im the only one with permission and this 120 acres hasn't been hunted in 10+ years. A huge oak ridge, tamarack swamp and this 10 acre corn field all come together where this camera is hung.

Its he keeps visiting this mock scrape, during day light...it should be game on.

I've only stepped foot on this property twice this year...once to hang the camera, and once to pull the card. My next move is to go out in a week or so to freshen up the scrape, hang a stand, and pull the card.

I know he's there...just a waiting game from here on out with one more intrusion until opening day!

Sounds like a plan, Bro. Good luck!

Ya know, you're one of my dark horses to lay down a slammer this year. I think you've got this guy wrapped around your finger.

I'm going to start a couple mock scrapes next month in areas that have been historically scrapy. I usually wait until much, much later, but this year, I'm going to switch it up a bit and see if I can't throw my hat into the ring early and get one of the big boys to play.
