My wife and I went with a group of friends in October. We had a decent time, but nothing special. I don't care to ever go back, that's for sure. The stench of stale beer and cigarette smoke everywhere and a constant line of homeless begging for money. I can think of lots of better ways to spend a vacation.
I'm glad I just read this. We are supposed to go with some friends, in May. This just might be the straw that makes us stay home!!
The only times I have been to Las Vegas has been for work, never would I consider going there on vacation. I have to go back in January, but I will be as far away from downtown as possible. I get to go hang around the mercury test site and watch drones fly around.
Honestly, I would far rather go almost anywhere else. It was disgusting to me. Now, that being said, if you love to gamble and drink like a fish and don't mind spending all of your time smelling like a dirty ashtray its good, plenty of people seem to enjoy it and make repeat visits.
I have a good friend that lives in Las Vegas he took me to his favorite Italian restaurant one the locals go to not a tourist dive. Ferraro's Italian and wine bar, some of the best Italian I have had.
I like my money, in my wallet. Thanks, fletch. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
100% my thoughts going in. I would much rather party back home but unfortunately no say in this one. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I like to go to Stoney’s south of the strip. Thursdays are $25 all you can drink draft beer. It’s a “country” bar. When I was there, they had an arcade, mechanical bull, and the waitresses get on the bar and dance every hour in bikinis and chaps. It was more fun than listening to slot machines beep while we were getting drunk.
