With Deer season quickly approaching many are starting to get their bow ready for another season. This means if you are in the market for a new sight you may want to give the new all made in the USA bow sight from Trijicon a real look. By now I am sure many have talked about the $500.00 bow sight from Trijicon. Before knocking it let’s look at why it is $500.00.
This bow sight is not just made of light weight aluminum it is made from anodized aircraft-grade 6061-T6 Aluminum which is tempered solutionized and artificially aged. This is an extremely durable aluminum and extremely strong for aluminum.
Covered with a high impact shade shield with hi-visibility aiming circle lies the signature Trijicon triangular aiming point and clear pin which is field replaceable and allows for precision aiming and a non obstructed view of your target. The tritium-phosphor lamp needs no batteries to provide brightness and has the brightest fiber optics in the industry.
Next is what makes this sight so unique. Unlike similar sights on the market Trijicon has developed BowSync™ Technology. By first shooting your bow through a chronographer and getting the speed of your bow and then looking at the chart in the manual that comes with the bow sight you set your calibration setting to that number. Then aim and shoot and arrow at 20 yards, then should the arrow be high or low make normal adjustments. Once your are sighted in loosen the range ring locking screw and rotate the range ring until the laser etched 20 yard mark is aligned with the range indicator pin. Tighten the range ring locking screw. Next you will need to adjust the sight for a 60 yard shot and if you do not have availability to shoot at 60 then 40 or 50 yards can be used. Please note the farthest distance is the best to use. What other similar sights on the market make it this easy?
Above all it has the Trijicon name and experience to stand behind it. This sight was field tested for several years prior to releasing on the market. Meaning, this sight has been designed and tested to be the most durable sight in most any condition. The limited lifetime warranty sight comes in a black finish, Matthews Lost Camo™ and Realtree AP®. The sight is shipped in a durable plastic case allowing you to keep the sight safe and dry when off your bow.
So, now that you know a little about this new sight now you know a little why it is on the high end of bow sights. I suggest learning more about this sight and other Trijicon sights go to www.Trijicon.com and download the brochure.

the HHA ultra, or optimizer, for 300 dollars less? lol
For real though, the Trijicon stuff is unreal, i am just not sure that it is totally needed in archery.

I had my hha sighted in in under 15 minutes without the use of a chronograph. Same deal, shoot at 20, shoot at 60, find your tape and good to go. And I didn't pay $500 for it either.
