    Hello guys'n gals!

i recently bought a Accupin bow sight from trijocon to hunt with but i cant manage to adjust it to any longer range then 11yards..heres what i shoot

Bow is a Mathews Helim 60lbs 28.5 inch draw lenght it has a speed of 248Fps
with Easton Carbon arrows that weight 390-399Grains
i have followed all the instruction on the manual and on a video manual from trijicon
and no matter how i adjust it it wont be adjusted to any longer range then 11yards..

    anyone have a clue?

I have a Trijicon Accupin sight on my Heli M also. It is a phenomenal bow sight. No problems whatsoever. In fact, set up was a breeze.

First, I have to ask this question: Did you also get the Trijicon Accudial mount or did you just get the sight itself?

I'm not sure what's going on. My set up was a breeze. I used the rear adjustment to gear the sight to my bow, then shot at 20 yards, turning the yardage adjustment dial until it was dead on at 20 while ignoring the yardage marks. Then I carefully loosened the set screw on the laser etched yardage ring and turned only the ring until the 20 yard mark matched up with the indicator arrow. I was then set at 20.

Next I walked back to 60 yards, turned the dial to 60 and shot. If the shot was high, I used the rear adjustment to gear the sight to a higher setting. If it was low, I adjust it to a lower setting. I did this until I was hitting at 60. Then I walked up to 20 again, made sure it was still on. It was and I've been good to go ever since.

What setting did the instructions tell you to gear the sight to based on your arrow speed of 248 fps?

If you shoot from 20 yards, where does the arrow impact?

Try turning the dial until the sight is all the way up and shoot from 10 yards. Ignore the yardage on the dial for now and turn the dial to move the sight down until you're hitting at 10 yards. Then step back to 20 and shoot. If it's still on, loosen the small set screw and move the yardage ring so that the arrow on the sight lines up with the 20 yard mark.

i did try what you suggest here but it didnt work
so i turned the dial so the sight is going all the way down and it can only preform at 11yards and i bought new arrows for it
since the one i was shooting was messured to 208fps at 551grains

the settning i was told to use was little above 0.. and at 20yards the arrow will go under my target
and hit the ground behind it or just slip away so i cant find it again

I don't think Christopher is still around, but I am. Not that I'll be much help. :)

My Trijicon sight is mounted on my Heli-m set at 60#, I shoot heavy arrows and I can adjust it to 80 and even 90 yards with no contact whatsoever.

I have three questions. What bow are you shooting, what is the draw weight, and what are your anchor points when you draw?

I ask about the anchor points because for you to be having fletching contact your sight housing when it's adjusted to 65 yards, your peep sight must be down low, really close to your string loop.

My first suggestion not knowing anything about your set-up would be to remove the screws that fasten the sight housing to the Accudial mount, remount the sight housing in a higher position (it's adjustable) and re-sight it in.
