Problem: I have had a chest cold and have this persistent cough. Usually I can control it with cough drops for an hour or 2, but once I start to get chilled, I can't hold back! Our (PA) late archery starts in a week or so, and I want to keep hunting. Didn't know if there were any suggestions out there. Not a smoker either:) Thanks.

I use ricola cough drops but sometimes you just gotta cough. Unfortunately that tickle in your throat will be exacerbated when you see a deer. Same with sniffles...

I just make sure that I have a bottle of water handy and some hard candy to suck on.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do about a cough. When I have to cough, I just break out my spare woolen hat and cough into it. It muffles it pretty well, but it is additional movement.

Funny...this same thing happened to me sitting a water hole a few days back. Nothing was happening...felt a tickle..coughed into my arm one good time and back ta buisness. On a side note, I saw a white flag 15 yards earlier when I decided to check my six. . . Mistake.
