So now that he's out, and the details are still a little sketchy, but we can all make our assumptions, who's to blame??? Is it Tressel's own fault for not being forthright, or is it the fault of the players for selling their stuff to 'support their families," or do we blame the "Compliance department" for not monitoring the ongoings well enough????
Coach, players, car dealership, tattoo parlor, athletic director, president, compliance department, etc...
Tressel would still be the coach if he had reported the information he received in the email, therefore the blame for him being out is squarely on his shoulders.
You're the only one who gets the Joke In all honesty now looking back and seeing what was going on, I owe Llyod an apology.
He lost his job because of his actions. Tressel probably poaches deer at night with a rifle, shoots turkeys while on roost, and never buys a license...he is after all, entitled to it all. Sticks in my craw.
