Ya...I know. He threatened to shoot one if the guys that met me there that originally caught him . I made sure I let the sheriff know that. He also mentioned his lawyer. BTW lets just say we aren't talking " money " here. 4 kids and two adults and a couple of dogs in maybe 800sqft if that. So if he has a lawyer there are real legal reasons for that. I also found a empty bottle of gin on our land and burning barrel garbage.
I agree! But people are crazy even more so now. I've had tires slashed, nail throw under tractor tires, windows broke out... just don't make things a pissing match. Let the law handle it! BTW... I'm all for prosecuting this bum!
Everybody should use cameras. Photographic evidence is better than "he said, she said" evidence. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
The sheriff took way better pics but here's an idea of what it did look like and a little of what he did. Where those ruts use to have a natural swamp grass 3 ft high and is lined by it . He went in and mowed it .
So just got back, he wasn't on us last night and won't be the machine is butt end up in a 6 ft deep culvert ditch in front of his house. Talked to his other neighbor... The guy lied does not own the place. He rents it and is 1 or 2 months in the rear. I left with good relations with neighbor and his wife, also getting word out place is loaded with cams now. Passing conversation piece...lol
Contact the landowner directly. Aint a single landlord out there that wants their tenants doing illegal things and gives them an excuse for eviction.
That was accomplished while talking to the neighbor. He told me that the owner was the one that informed him about the rears. So I said " On her next call you may mention if he's behind he now needs to pay a lawyer as well . Good luck with the rent."
So guys, I just don't know what to say, really, really. I drove by on the way home to do a slow drive by check on land. The 4 wheeler is out of ditch and sitting on the axles on the ground. ALL 4 tires no where to be seen. A smaller 4 wheeler was sitting next to it. OMG! I honestly think he hid the tires to claim the tracks weren't from his machine, no tread no proof. ..LOL. Never mind there is proof the only access to land goes from his back door and both sheriff and I took pics showing this...I can't even imagine the circus the hearing will be if it's not plead out.
Here's my thoughts ..... talk to the landlord and the scumbag and tell him if he moves out in a week you'll drop the charges and the landlord will forego the rent owed and you've both just eliminated a major headache from your life. Especially with all the logjams in the legal system right now you both may be dealing with months of this. It's hunting season.... who has time for this garbage!
You guys don't see the big problem.... NYS covid rent deferral.. He knows he can not be evicted period at the moment.
That’s where dropping the trespassing charges as an incentive to leave voluntarily comes into play Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
These are not simple trespassing charges. The sheriff called his office and came back to me to say they were filing trespassing with malicious intent and property damage. He did damage that can't be just undone.
Sucks to be him! I’m behind you sticking it to him by all means. I was just throwing out an option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just getting better guys..So I mentioned the white truck parked in dumbest spot on lease next door. That they have cams there and what are they thinking parking right where the big buck hang out. That oooppss, they must read here because mins. later trucks gone. Perhaps it was the cam comment, well this wasn't the lease guys. It's supposedly a guy that one lease guy gave permission. Well this yahoo decides to go to where neighbors son parked his truck on the upper corner of his land to hunt. This yahoo apparently decides to take a dump right next to neighbors sons truck. Leaving not only that with tissues all over....he dropped his phone unknowingly. I don't have to tell you this did not go over well. The son finds guy and they have it out he lies first words out of his mouth. Then came the I really don't know property lines around here. WE ARE ALL POSTED HEAVILY . Says I wasn't anywhere near your truck. The son pulls out his phone, lie don't lie!!! This is your phone in my hand..... OMG these idiots! So have to say glad it wasn't me this time but I now have to keep an eye peeled for " I don't know lines here" I swear I have an urg to staple one of my signs to the forehead of these twitts.
