Hey Dan @bloodcrick I know we live in the same state and all but have you been sneaking onto my spot?!?!? I saw this from my stand this morning and thought of you! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Dan Infalt aka The Hunting Beast claims the balloons in the woods often are found near bedding areas. Something about the thermals in the air pulling the balloon down also working to a bedded deer's advantage with scent.
As they go up, the gas expands and POOF! Bet you will find a hole or where the gas was put in. It is a nice color.
I forget to take a picture, but on Sunday, I found one on the side of a ridge right where I expected to find a bedding area. I followed a heavy and fresh set up rubs around the ridge and into the bedding area.
