considering i got busted like 3 times already in my blind this year due to swirling winds which are tough to hunt with on the ground i favor the vantage point and larger field of view in a treestand

I have more success in a tree stand due to blind not being long enough for me to draw back lol

There are advantages to both. It's an easier angle on the ground, but you give up being higher than the deer's normal eye level. Being higher does allow you more movement, but if you have a good ground blind you can move pretty easily as well. People also tend to mess up shot distances from a stand as well because if your're looking down on an animal and your high up in the stand, the range will be like 30 yards, but if you hold your 30 yard pin you're going to shoot over or really high on the deer because it is actually only 8 or 10 yards from the stand (in this hypothetical situation). If that makes sense. I haven't set up any stands or ground blinds so far this year I've only hunted on foot like Hoosier Daddy

see I'd love to spot and stalk but I don't have any private land to hunt I'm afraid if I do that I will disturb the tree stand hunters in my area

Never had success in blinds...however if I find great spot with not a lot of mature trees you bet your sweet biffy I'll be using a blind. Treestands preferred but not mandatory.:D
