Ok, so I've been to there website. Alot of jargon, technical stuff. What does all this mean for us who buy and operate treestands?

So, I'm thinking of buying an Ol' Man AlumaLite CTS climbing stand. It's listed as meeting 2010 TMA standards. I guess this means "it's safe" even though I don't like that it's made outside the U.S.

I just went through a certification course to become a treestand safety instructor. TMA certified stands to have to meet certain guidelines to insure our safety. I feel a little better knowing they aren't just putting anything out there.
