I just bought the Rivers edge Big foot XL hang on.l Little heavy but has a sling seat and is nice and comfy and has big platform. Then I bought big game climbing ladder sticks from fleet farm. Prob have $110 into everything. I like it alot

I looked everywhere to find the most inexpensive lone wolf I could find that was still brand new. I wanted the hand climbed combo II. And the lowest price I could find was 329 I believe. Then I decided to buy the member ship on eders. I got the stand for 297 to my door. So I actually got back my twentyfive bucks for the member ship on my first buy. If you buy XOP off their website it cost 289 I believe ( these numbers might be off. I'm hunting at the moment and don't have time to look them up) so really you spend ten more dollars just for a lone wolf that's made for sure with good quality. I then have purchased other things on eders because of my discount and am really glad i did. I plan on picking up the stick for 154 dollars for the four set this Christmas.

Here's my 2 cents...I'm pretty scared of hutning out of hangons, but I feel the safest in the lone wolf hang on bc it's the sturdiest. Also they are light and very easy to set up. I have a a muddy stand as well that is only 1 lb heavier, but I strictly hunt out of my lone wolf.

I HATE my screw in steps but since I'm on a budget they have to do. They take a good 45 minutes to get them all in and we have to use a drill...not the best for a late season stand move...but I bought 2 stands for 40$ each at ****'s Sporting Goods. I'm not sure if you have one of those where you live but they are totally the best bang for your buck. btw the stand is called Comfort Zone Hunter Hang On...it weighs maybe 15lbs and is durable. Holds 300lbs and is a pretty comfortable stand.

I'm a big muddy fan myself
I use their outfitter sticks and outfitter hang ons for permeant stands and then their Bloodsport stand with quick mount system and climbing sticks for mobile unit. I will be buying more before the sale to big game is finalized as they will be liquidating stock at end of year

If your going to leave the stand up just get a ladder stand. They are so much easier to put up and much quicker. Hang ons suck to hang but if you gotta pack them in ladder stand wont work.
