Yeah, with the exception of the big honkin' steel frame jobs for ladder stands, I don't know of many umbrellas that are designed for high winds.

I do have raingear sans gloves and hats, if its raining bad enough where i would need to walk in with it up im probably not going, im pretty much refering to mild rainfall, drizel, wet snows ect. I use the new scentblocker triple threat rain, wind scent gear and i just leave it on when i get there, its quiet outer gear anyway!

Bought one last season and used it twice. Love it and will continue to use it.

I could sure use one of these. It's been pouring rain here since about noon. I didn't go out this afternoon.

Here's a pic of my home made Realtree super-solid screw in umbrella mount. I used some excess Summit climber cable shrink wrap to seal the exposed edges.

I found mine. I forgot I had it for a long time and then found it last year and told myself to get it out for this year. Fast forward, crick has to remind me to get the darn thing out. Busted

I've had one for about 5 yrs or more, and have never used it. Might I add I've been getting a wet a$$ for 5 yrs too. I told myself early this season that I'll be giving it a try, especially with having the camera in the tree. Thanks for the reminder Crick! It's going to Minnesota with me, so I'm ready for some wet weather! :)

Are any of you worried they could look like a blob in the tree?

I'm not to worried about that. I'm actually probably gonna put mine to use Friday as its supposed to be rather warm and rainy.

That was always a concern of mine. I've had one for years and never use it, I sit out there with raingear like a chump
