    Every once in awhile ill be watching a hunting show and there will be a tree that has these bulb looking fruit on it they are like the size of softballs. And are yellow. Can someone tell me what kind of tree this is and do deer eat the fruit off them

    I'm assuming you would recognize a pear.

    I'm going to guess Osage Orange, commonly referred to as Hedge trees and hedge balls or hedge apples. No they aren't edible and deer don't eat them though I have seen them roll them around playing with them so don't let anyone tell you deer don't play with their balls, lol.

    Squirrels will tear them up and eat the seeds out of them though.
