I'm planning out the food plot for next year so that I don't have to wait until the last minute and be overwhelmed.
I would like to plant a few trees to supplement the food plot I want to plant. However, I'm not sure what kind to get. I live in central Indiana. The area i want to plant is a valley with a creek (flooding not a problem). There is plenty of sunlight. Lastly, I'm inpatient and would obvioulsy like something to produce quickly. Would something like a 4-6 year old pin oak work?
    Any opinions?

I would second the fruit tree, maybe a dwarf variety they seem to produce fruit at an earlier age.
