I only have enough for one good stand figure that is better than buying a couple cheap one. looking at lone wolf or muddy outdoors? my question is has anyone see or use the quick attachment for tree stands that you strap to different trees so you can move one stand around to all the spots. are they worth it or is it just a gimmick to get your money lol ? i plan on moving it around alot. how hard is it just to move them around? i have a climber and i hate it.

I can see how they could be helpful, but honestly with my Lone Wolf, I have no need for it. The stand is easy to hang and I wouldn't want to compromise one of my favorite features of a LW, it's rock solid connection to a tree.

I love them! I purchased several and leave them in several spots. In addition to the Easy Hang hooks I have my bow hanger, haul line and lifeline still on the tree. This way I don't have to leave my stand and I can get in and up quickly without all that extra work!

if you're looking for a hang-on, take a look a the Summit Raptor. 13.5lbs, rock solid, easy to hang with the INCLUDED tree adapter brackets (can buy multiples)....and it's like sitting in an a$$hammock. I have no idea why these aren't the most popular hang on stand on the forum. They are the cat's behind.....and @ $200 not a bad deal.

Look into XOP treestands. They are better than Lone Wolf and are a lot less $$$. I would recommend putting the Lone Wolf comfort seat on it though.

Any bad press you are reading is from several years ago when they were selling the chinese-made Lone Wolf stands. Now XOP is working with the creator of Lone Wolf (Andrae D'Acquisto) and has a few different cast aluminum models out right now being sold at a much better price than Lone Wolf stands and also have stands and sticks (cast aluminum) that will be coming out in the future that will blow any Lone Wolf away.

The Summit Osprey has the quick connect straps. I love them. They are very comfortable. The square platform on these is awesome. You can pick them up on ebay for $125 or so.
