    Hello everyone,
I am a new hunter, and new to this forum. I've been coming to this forum for a while trying to look for information and assistance. I've start bow hunting this season but havent got any hit yet.
I wanted to know what was everyone opinion between hunting on a tree stand or hunting on a ground blind?

    Thanks for sharing

They both work, but I prefer to be in a tree. Just my personal preference.

There both sufficient ...however...i have only killed one deer out of a ground blind.....and i tell you what..when i killed that doe..it was probably 4 or 5 yards in front of us..it came right behind our blind..i was the biggest rush i have ever had....so close and eye level..makes it all the more exciting....haha i was so excited i felt like that 8 yard shot was 30 yards...

I have used both and taken a doe from the ground and a buck from the tree stand.

Try both ground and tree. They have different difficulties... In a tree stand you need to worry more about scent and you need to watch your movement but not as much as when on the ground. On the ground your scent wont travel as far as it will be broken up from brush and etc. In a tree it travels farther and over top of everything, and wind is stronger the higher you go. when on the ground make sure there is alot of brush and scrubs behind you to break up your silhouette, and wear heavy camo. This is the stuff I do and it works well... I do ground mostly for rifle, this year I am gonna attempt stalking a deer with a bow tho :p
