IMG_0948.JPG this was my old spot that I recently lost. Really sucks because I had just figured out how the deer were moving in and out of the field.

This is a spot I put a micro food plot in about 3 years ago. I carried in over 600 lbs of lime and fertilizer that summer. Used a pack frame and made many trips. It's about a 1/2 mile from my truck.[IMG]
This is the stand I shot my big buck from last year. This pic was taken about 4 days before I shot him. If you look close you can see a 140" 8 pt that I pasted that day. He stood there for over a hour with a doe, then breed her. This all happen at 12 noon.[IMG]

Hoyt, that 8pt is nothing to sneeze at, maybe he'll be around this season and even bigger!

He got shot about 5 hours after I watched him. That's why I know he was a 140 buck. I also lost that farm, it got sold about a month after I shot that buck. Big bucks do sell farms!

Unbelievable!! That's a heck of a property to lose, sorry to hear that. It's all good though, it gave you what might be the best buck of your hunting career. :chewy:

Your not kidding! I kind of knew it wasnt going to last. The good thing is the guy that bought it, is using it for hunting property. Not just another sub division. The guy who bought it, you may have heard of him. I think he is from PA or maybe upper DE. He owns a fuel oil company. I don't want to put his name out on here though.

Nah man. My buddies just modified the legs with some pipes we had from work. They've been on the lease long before I was there.

Here's two little 1 1/2 yr old bucks fighting at about 200m. They went at it for about an hour off and on that morning. [IMG]
