I’m too tall to use the seats on the average hang-on stand. Looking to make a seat I can hook onto the tree at a higher height. Thinking 80 grade pvc pipe—anybody have the same problem w/ a solution?

Sorry only 6'2 but climber might be the best buy solution. Get a old one cheap and use just the seat. Good luck

Remove the seat part and use a hawk tree seat at whatever height you need. May take a little more time for setup

Look into saddle hunting platforms. Actually Google that and you should find a link to saddlehunter.com. These guys are GREAT for DIY stuff. The platforms can double as hang on seats. The DIY ,some made with the big wheel chair foot pads. Check it out.

Ya I really have to get some practice time in soon. It's so comfy, but still climbing is a thing for me.

Glad I’m still young and healthy... I got three hawk helium’s with the 5 step aider that I move from one stick to the next on the way up and down.

Geez, I need to check my typing sooner...lol...Aaahhh youth enjoy it!
Getting older's not bad ...it just uses up time faster and in a , lets say, less comfortable manner.
