Seriously ... When you're hunting from a tree stand, how do you keep the squirrels from dropping nuts on your head?

I hunted from a tree stand for exactly one (muzzle loading) deer season, when I lived in Missouri.
DaRn squirrel(s) dropped no less than 40 nuts an hour on me.

They imported the nuts, I think.
Acorns, Walnuts, and Pecans were the most common to hit.
I think I was in a maple tree.

Keep a squirrel arrow or a pistol pellet gun charged with CO2. Dead squirrels throw no nuts.
