Tree stand Hoisting rope: Leave it/Take it with you?

    I keep everything with me but not because I'm afraid of spooking the deer with the scent on the rope. I use a climber and I just like being versatile. I walk in, and climb a tree. When I leave I take everything with me.

    I have one on all my stands & leave them up year around. When I leave my stand I tie it tight to a rung on the ladder to keep it from blowing in the wind & spooking deer or getting there attention.
