Hey guys, I'm somewhat new to this site but I love reading all of the information you guys give. I put up some new stands today on a new piece of property I got permission for and put a hang on stand around 20-22 feet in a big cottonwood tree. I've never hunted anywhere near that high but it seemed like such a perfect tree. I was just wondering if there is any difference in how a guy should judge distance or aim any different due to the difference in height. Thanks for any info given.

For me there is no difference (noticeably anyways) between shooting from a stand and from the ground. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to test it out somehow, like off a deck or even your roof. Never good to find out there is a difference when your shooting at a deer!
