So ive had a tree spider for a few years now and it is starting to bug me now. First off the chest snap chokes the life out of me if i bed over and second the leg straps fall to the bend of my knees when i bend over. How can i fix this without buying a new harness????

....dont bend over.....hahaha just kidding. I have one and have the same leg strap issues. i since have got the spider micro and have zero issues with that one. If you tighten the leg straps that should solve the leg strap issue. the chest one im not sure about never had an issue with mine.

Unfortunately your leg strap troubles are simply the nature of the harness design. When you're standing the harness is held tight by the "Figure 8" shape and the distance between your shoulders and your crotch. When you sit or bend down that distance decreases which creates slack in the harness and leads to your leg issues. I had the same issue with the Spider when I used it. I'm not sure there's a way to solve it without getting a different harness.

Using a harness where the leg straps are attached to the waist belt seems to be the best option. I'm sure pretty much all other harnesses are built like this - HSS, the Tree Spider Micro, Muddy and others.

Not sure on your chest strap problem. I never experienced that issue.
