I ordered one at the ATA show and I think they said it would be July before they ship. Not 100% sure though.

I just checked out the website and it looks like a great harness. What do you guys know about the Livewire? like can you accend and decend with it attached?

Not sure about the live wire, all I know is every harness I have ever owned was awful. Finally someone took the time to design a safe and comfortable harness!!!

Tenatively - yes. I talked to the guys at Scent Blocker earlier this week and they said they're still on target for late June/early July delivery date.

As for the Livewire question - no, you can't ascend/decend with it on. The Livewire is meant for a one-time use in the case you fall out of your stand it will decend you slowly and safely to the ground. This prevents possible suspension trauma which can kill you within minutes. Once the Livewire is used it cannot be used again. I was told there may be a replacement plan put into place where you can send it your used Livewire for a new replacement (not sure if there will be a cost or not) but haven't heard any final details on that yet.

You talk with the guys at Scent Blocker? Could you ask them if they ever have any plans to produce tall sizes in their gear? I love their stuff, but the only stuff that fits are the accessories (hats, 3/4 XLT Facemask, etc.).

It's one of the great untapped markets still left in the hunting world.

    Got mine today.
Very nice and well made but I think the left leg strap is sew backwards so I may have cabelas replace it.

    Nice and lite though.

I had the same issue with my harness. After calling Tree Spider, it was a quick fix. All I had to do was unbuckle the leg strap and sling it back through above where the "X" is at in the straps.

Can't wait to use it this fall!

Similar design, so no reason to get rid of the muddy harness. Looks cool though.

Its somewhat of a shame that you have to buy the Livewire accessory and that its not included with the harness. One of the main benefits of this harness is the ability to descend if you fall. Without the Livewire attachment, the harness is just like any other. They should have included the Livewire accessory with the harness, charge more but include it. Thats my beef with this harness.

With that said, I am considering making the purchase. Never thought I'd pay $230 for a harness but life is priceless...so I probably will.

You know, after I got the new one in I thought about that.
Love the harness though, used it a few times already.

Yes cabelas has them but last time I check they are on backorder. I am going to try to get one this season. I agree that the livewire should be part of the original purchase for no extra price just for the simple fact that they are so high but what can you do. They would just find another way around it. The livewire replacement would be a huge + if they are free or a very low price of around 15-20 bucks. That's my two sense on them

Finch, you can use the Livewire with any harness, No?
I don't see what all the hype is about, seems no better than the HSS Ultra light or Muddy to me.
The Livewire seems like a great little device though.
