Do you have any expierence climbing trees w/ rope and saddle? If not I wouldn't recomend it. I prune trees for work and it can be VERY dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. I have seen another member that was planning on hunting that way before the season got going but I haven't seen any posts on how it is going for him. There are some recreational saddles out there for people who climb for fun. The saddle I use for work is a Petzl Seqoia. Its very comfortable but not what I would want to use to hunt from.
