got this for christmas, alittle gift for my self, fell in love with it and after 3rd trip with it i sold my climber, this thing is awesome best hunting gear i ever bought, i recommend it to anyone that wants i little advantage over the others the other on public land, this saddle goes places where other stands would have no chance. very lite for long treks in to the deep spots,

Good Post, I bought one last year and fell in love with it as well. You definitely need to practice from it before using, but once you get comfortable with the basics it is the only way to fly.

i really like the concept, it seems to me like it would be extremely versatile. quick question though, how many hours can you spend in it before it becomes uncomfortable?

Man, just when I thought I was done buying gear...you toss this out.

This is really intriguing. Last season was my first year bow hunting and three times I had shootable does come in on me in ways I couldn't get around to draw on them. I think this may have allowed me to get around.

Damn (I just bought a new LW Alpha and gave my son my Assault)...

yea i love this thing, its the best piece of gear i have bought, you can get into just about any tree even one with low branches i just use a second linemans belt and hook above it, then continue up. and you can shoot 360 degrees but it takes some practice. took me about my 3rd trip to get the hang of it.

i use lone wolf climbing stick to get up the tree and i have 6 steps on a ratched strap that i use as a platform, and i put pouches on my saddle so that i dont need a back pack either,

I have one and used it a lot but I prefer my LW Alpha and 4 climbing sticks.

I have been using a saddle for a year now and love it seeing I have to hunt public land. I like it for these reasons.
    1) light weight
    2) very comfy to sit in.
    3) gets me deeper in the woods with out sweating.
    4) not having to carry a stand on my back.
    6) only have to carry a set of tree steps with me into the woods.
    7) make me more mobile in the woods.

m98jack I also use a bunch of plastic steps on a ratchet strap as a platform.I also use a set of API stackin steps to get up into the tree.Gets me up about 15 ft up which is high enough for me.I think I am going to also carry a extra second linemans belt too. I like that idea for going up a few pine trees that i would like to get up into where I hunt on public land. Thanks for that idea. :tu:
