What kind of pole tree pruners do you guys use? I'm talking about the ones that are 8-12' in length. Name brand? Fiberglass or wood?

Just got the hooymansaw for my birthday from my brother. I can not wait to try it out. It'll fit in your pack with no problem and extends to 5 feet.

I use one of these. Poulan 12' chainsaw on a stick.

It is the thing to have for pruning in the off season. I also have a Corona pole saw. The Corona is 12' to 20' expandable fiberglass pole.
